Geonex Oy, with the help from the North Ostrobothnia’s Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), launched a project aiming to create a new energy unit. This energy unit, HA 180, can provide the necessary hydraulic and compressed air power for drilling. The first step is to construct the device for drilling dimensions up to Ø 220 mm. The project includes: needs assessment and customer needs, product development, design, prototype manufacturing and documentation, device testing, product demonstration and launch, product and training material.
