Independent jack-leg and sideshift orientation

Geonex HHB boring units posses independently adjustable jack-legs and individually adjustable lateral adjustment in horizontal beams making possible equipment orientation so that desired align-ment can be achieved even if launch pit is not accurately levelled. This also enables pipe alignment for welding much faster and making corrections in the alignment possible during the launch of first casings, which is one of the key components to achieve Geonex HHB accuracy & productivity.

Continuous feeding

Geonex HHB boring units utilize rack & pinion feeding which removes the need to retract the jack-ing cylinders, causing multiple starts and stops in the process. This makes continuous balanced feeding possible, which is one of the key components to achieve Geonex HHB accuracy & productivity.

Sophisticated remote controls

Geonex HHB boring units and power packs have been equipped with very top of the line hydrau-lic functions. Functions can be adjusted very accurately with dials in the remote control. This enables highly developed adjustment of drilling parameters from the remote controller and bal-anced drilling process, which is one of the key components to achieve Geonex HHB accura-cy & productivity.

Adaptive frame length

Geonex HHB boring units have adaptive frame lengths. Frames can be shortened by bolting off frame sections fast due to rack & pinion, or they can be extended by mounting separate extension frames in front of the base machine. This enables utilizing tight places with short drilling ele-ments and maximum accuracy bores with long casing elements, which is one of the key components to achieve Geonex HHB accuracy & productivity.

Built in air valve

Smaller end Geonex HHB boring units include in-built air valve for controlling the air volume to down hole hammer. Air valve is controlled wirelessly from remote control and includes emer-gency stop functions, which is one of the key components to achieve Geonex HHB accuracy, productivity & safety.

Built in air lubricator

Smaller end Geonex HHB boring units include in-built pump for automatic lubrication of the down hole hammer. Oil volume can be adjusted to meet the requirements. Hydraulically operated lubri-cator pump is reliable, and oil flow is monitored to ensure hammer lubrication, which is one of the key components to achieve Geonex HHB productivity & high efficiency.

Built in Water Pump

Smaller end Geonex HHB boring units include in-built water pump for serving various down hole hammer boring functions like dust reduction. Hydraulically operated water pump is reliable, and water flow is regulated from remote control, which is one of the key components to achieve Geonex HHB productivity & high efficiency.
